If art is a means to give life to interior worlds and even if it is impossible to enter his head, the visual language that Florido Pontani uses makes these worlds spontaneously decodable and magically comprehensible. The embrace of figurative, informal and abstract art, while transcending conventional codes, makes female figures, lunar landscapes, universes, movements and dreamlike compositions, familiar and recognizable.

Through the fusion of interior worlds and experimental visions, Florido elaborates a universal message: the individual, connected to the world in which he lives and immersed in progress and science, must maintain his authenticity as a living and emotional being, strengthening freedom at all levels, individual dignity and the sense of humanity. Thus, art becomes experience.

The heterogeneity of his artistic production leads him to use different supports, such as cardboard and canvases, and materials of various nature and mixed techniques: oil paint, tempera, watercolours, pastels, sand, graphite.
